Bird Information The long-tailed tit is most easily recognised by it's distinctive colouring, a tail that is bigger than it's body and by it's undulating flight. They are gregarious and noisy residents and are most usually noticed in small, excitable flocks of about 20 birds. Like most tits, they rove the woods and hedgerows, but are also seen on heath and common with suitable bushes. |
